Going to the chassis dyno right now.....

I'm gonna see how well this new design Dynapack chassis dyno works and try a little tuning during a 2 hour session. Specs are:

'76 Pinto wagon
393
ported 351W Vr Jr intake
9375 1050 Dominator w/ 2" adapter
13.5:1 compression
heavily ported iron Windsor Sr heads
1 7/8" to 2" step headers with 72" long primaries
Full 3 1/2" exhaust with "H" pipe and 3 1/2" Hooker Aero Chamber mufflers
256/266 at .050", .630/.630" lift, 108LSA, 108 ICL solid roller
5200 stall C4
4:30 gears
28/10.5/15 ET Drags
Sunoco Supreme(110 leaded)

Hopefully she'll hold together(cast pistons). Gotcubes(James) is visiting from Albuquerque and will be present. I'm taking video and driving there and back(should have some fun doing that ) and sunny in the upper 40s right now. Wish me luck

why did you go with Cast pistons? Seems like a mistake after reading that you are not "overly gentle" with your motors Good Luck!

man, your playing with fire running that cast stuff. Dont you think that your piston speed will be too fast for them? Whats your thory on a "safe" rpm limit?

I think if it was a killer number Kent would be all over the forum with it. He must be a little preturbed.

That's a bunch of squeeze for ANY motor. Bad things can happen sometimes.
