its.. ALIVE!! [semi-long]

since may it has been sitting, dead. Had the engine and tranny rebuilt. Installed it all in early october. couldn't get it to run. THe engine seized up, piston rings rusted to the cylinder walls... mystery to everyone so far. Then the tranny, it need a new front pump and torque converter after a bad "install" on my part.
Engine pay was sanded and rattle canned flat black, thena nice layer of this rustolem hammer tough stuff??. I dunno looks killer though. Got it all back in, and on Wednesday she fired up, with open headers. Every technician in the dealer[ where i ended up bringing it to, it's my work place] was standing around watching, as we prepared. I felt so great when it fired up, and everyone yelled and cheered.
Friday it got new front brakes, and saturday on my lunch break i took it on it's new maiden voyage of 10 miles, other then the lot drives. So far it has about 20 miles, maybe less. Still has some bugs in it , like the drivers side header, on the Number 8 cyl. it leaks out the gasket. Kindda rough starts, and i think i still have somke carb work to fiddle with. I will post pics tomorrow, with me and my friends at my "Randys car is finally running after 9 months and 4 grand later, after school party."
I would like to thank all of you Blue oval enthousists that helped me through my long voyage, and also Legacy Ford, for hiring me so i could get this far and the guys that helped me there ...

uhh.. oh i've run into some early problems, if need be i will move this thread if anyone wants to or for me to. But after 30 miles, i noticed my volts are running low, around 10V, my headlamps are very dim, and all my instrument lights are dim. Nothing is new for aftermarket eletronics.
Battery is new as of October, and the alternator is less then a year. Maybe i missed wired something back up.

72 Gran torino sport. 351-Cj c6, i don't know what it wrong, i checked every wire that was touched in this project, and the gauge is fine, the only thing i haven't done is just a voltameter on the battery, alt. etc.
