Cars in barns in my area!!!

Here are some pics of old Fords sitting around in my area.

This one I have had my eye on for about 3 or 4 years now everytime I stop to ask about it the guy just slams the door in my face before I can get 2 words out.

I noticed this one peeking out of this barn the other day. I didnt dare get close seeing how they had numerous Keep Out signs posted all over the place. Thought I might get shot if I got any closer.

Stopped and asked about this one but the people are saving it to fix up for their son. At least they were cool and talked about it with me. Has been in their family for a long time.

This car has been sitting up the road from me for years. Needs alot of work and the last time we asked them how much they wanted they said like $900. Seemed kind of steep for as much work that is needed.

Just thought I would share these with everyone.

Cool finds! I'll have to take the digital out and see what I can find. There are quite a few even here in town.

On the last cross-country road trip I took, I stuck to the 'backroads' as much as possible and saw all kinds of interesting things peeking out around barns & yards.

Is there a 1967 'K' code Mustang fastback waiting for me somewhere out there? I almost got to buy one of these from someone who had no idea how rare it was, but I was too late. Someone else got it in original & rust-free condition for peanuts.

I think a really nice summer vacation(s) would be to spend the entire summer criss-crossing backroads looking for old cars of interest. I know there are lots of undiscovered gold mines tucked away and forgotten about by their current owners. If I could win the lottery and take a suit-case of cash with me, it would be even better...

You'd crap to see what's around here. I have a friend with about 30 cars in his yard including a big block '69 Mach. Maybe I'll post my cars in barns

I know there's a bunch of stuff in and around Tulsa. Hell, all of OK is littered with cool cars stashed away in garages, barns, and yards with the owner wanting to "fix" them up one day. At least the owners decided to keep them and not have them hauled off otherwise they would be long gone. Rotting away or not, at least they are still around

1967xlfastbackgalaxie , There is a 67 XL on Ebay right now . It is in VERY Southern Illinois. The bid was low. It may be close enough for you to go see. Too far south for me, it is in Elizabethtown. Kind of where Illinois laps over into points further south.
