Electrical Question

Trying to get my garage area ready for the air compressor, welder and various other electrical tools... I'm in the process of wiring in a 220 volt outlet for the compressor.. And thought that while I was at it, that I might upgrade(if possible) my outlets.. Can I replace a 15amp circuit breaker with a 20amp?? and add another outlet on the same ciruit?? Or should I just wire in another circuit??

You can replace a 15 with a 20, physically it will fit.But make sure you are using 12 gauge wire with the 20 amp breaker.I have a feeling from what your saying that the wire is probably only 14 ga. It would probably be cheaper to just pull a new circuit and make it 20A.

Electrical Question

Tell ya what, when you can come close to what I do, know what I know, help as many people here as I do, own more than a dozen cars at once, all running including my muscle cars, have done something in your life other than use childish profanity, then, MAYBE then my friend, you can hold a small candle to my butt! I see no pics, no cars on your profile page, 12 posts... can it newbie, this is no way to make friends. Maybe if you're nice, I'll slide by on my way home from Woodward & show you what most of us here are made of... Don't come to an intelligent arguement without some sort of ammo my friend. Try to hold your comments about my cars to my face & if you live in a glass house, don't throw rocks
