List of contacts to help eachother out... Good idea or not?

I was just thinking, as I often do at 3:30 in the morning (just got back from a drive in the 5 speed Olds, wishing I had the Gal back together). Anyway, it just occurred to me that it would be cool if we had a list of all the guys here who would be willing to lend a helping hand if anyone needs it. Like if anyone is in the area and has trouble with their ride. I would be more than happy to make a parts run, lend my tools, or my time to help out a fellow Ford enthusiast in need. It would be cool to have the list here on FM, but if not we could set it up elsewhere.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Already in the works. Most of us signed up for it some time ago.

We set up a vehicle check registry. If you are willing to inspect/photograph vehicles for fellow members in your area send me: Your real name, FM name, home address, phone number, email address, and the area which you would be willing to cover. It's not an emergency assistance/breakdown type of thing at present. We only have 29 signed up. I have yet to successfully hook two people up, except for an engine I asked Qtrmiler to look at for me in Tulsa. The country is just too big for 29 people to cover effectively.

Well you've got 30 now. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] I'm about 10-15 minutes from Philadelphia, in Cherry Hill, NJ. If anyone wants a car in that area looked at I'd be happy to check it out for anyone. I've got a digital camera so I can take pics too. Most of my experience is with Galaxies, seeing as how I've had two of them (now only one), so I don't know the trouble spots on Mustangs and such. Just let me know what to pay particular attention to and I've got ya covered.
