I'll have to check on fxjr's availability...The last two pics are actually "during", not "after". where we'd pretty much finished painting the frame itself but had not finished the floors. The job was much easier than I thought and the car's incredibly rust free. Lots of dust and mud dauber's nests, but little undercoating. It's far from the quality you'd get from a Cook job, but it'll do for a car that's gonna be driven. We'll go over it with an even keener eye for detail after it's painted. There'll be overspray to get rid of then and we'll also have the front suspension fully detailed then too since we'll be putting front discs on in a couple of weeks.

I was under my car for nearly a month cleaning. I stripped it stem to stern of all undercoating with a 1" putty knife and a propane torch. I then cleaned it again with solvent and scotchbrite. Lastly I painted it with Nason chassis black. I had the frame off the body at the time so it a little easier getting to the floor but it was still a mess!

Nice Job! The pic of Jr. kinda reminds me of when me and my old man did some of our projects.Somehow I always got the "CHARACTER BUILDING JOBS"! Black was a good choice.

I can't wait to see this car when it's done. I wish I had time to come down and see it in person.
