What about Ray Tilley in his Ford powered #88 sprint and Gerald and Miles Chamberlain also, Die hard Ford guys who mopped up quite a bit here in the late 60's and early 70's.

Gerald Chamberlain is one of my all time heros! After reading about his exploits with his 427 FORD powered Mods for years, we went to what was supposed to be the last
race at Reading Fairgrounds in late '78. Just watching that cutdown #76 Falcon with the injector tubes sticking through the hood broadsliding those turns was worth the 400 mile trip. Gerry ended up finishing second in that 200 lap race after coming from the back twice! If anyone wants to see pics of Gerry and some of his rides, including Paul Deasey's 427 Cammer powered #707 coupe, check out :

His Falcon was eventually sold to someone over my way and reputedly the chassis is languishing in a barn near Indiana, PA. A friend I've lost contact with was trying to find it's exact whereabouts for me.
Dirt track racers are a bad subject to get me started on. I could bore y'all to tears with this stuff....
