Is it the LEFT or RIGHT side ???

Drivers seat...is it the left side or the right side??? Some folks say to stand in front of the car facing it and thats how you are able to say left or right...others say while sitting in it.???

The "Right" or "Left" side is determined from sitting behind the steering wheel.

That is always my problem also!! I have been told many times but by the time I need to say 'left' or 'right' I forgot which way it goes.

Drivers side is left
Passenger side is right

All done from the perspective of sitting in the drivers seat sitting in the car.

Nastystang and tbirdchick are correct. When I order parts at where I work it is determined by as if you are sitting in the car like they said.

I just say passenger or driver side. It's always worked for me, and so far none of the parts shops have had any issue with it.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img]
