Why does the format of the forum show that edits were made?

I rest my case ... I have three posts to this thread ...

And this was very simple stuff ....

Just imagine what I go through on those "Flame War" threads.

DANG ... this is frustrating ... I did bad math ...

I did't fabricate any of my "edits" and "crazy stuff" on this thread ...

I just did the normal posts based on the topic and what I was thinking ...

SO ....

Based on my input to this thread ... just like my Ford Hot Rods ...

One can never assume a "Post" is ever really "Done" ...

You just never know what might happen next ...
