Any toy collectors here?
I know some of you guys collect Hot Wheels but I'm curious to see if anyone collects comic book action figures as well.

Had a lot of prototype and pilot production Star Wars stuff from my Kenner years (1976-1981)that I gave to my nephew (dumb). Still have R2D2 and C3PO large figures left.

This isn't really toy related. Well maybe it is "big boy toys". I cannot get used to that car under your nick PF. I keep thinking it's Greg even though I haven't seen it alone like it is.
As to toy collecting. I collect junk, no rhyme nor reason to the trash I have. If I like it I get it if it's a good deal. With moving around a lot I can't really collect a lot anyway. Used to have a big box of old comics including one of the first editions of Spiderman. It vanished at my dads, then he found it and then the box mysteriously disappeared again before I could get them, never to be seen again. Just more junk for me to pack around anyway I suppose. I still have things like Durant hubcaps that I have had since I was a kid.

Nice to see someone else with that problem. I really don't know how many I have other than if I stacked them they would be about 3 ft high. Some were my mom and dads that they gave me when I was 8 cause I wrote on them "8 years old" A lot of those sound horrible because the 33 needle broke so I just flipped it over to the 78 side and reamed the poor things. But I'll still listen to them now and then, hiss, snappple, pop and all.

Mainly vehicles for me but I have a few oddball items mainly stuff I had when I was a kid, Zeroid Robots, Billy Blastoff, some solid plastic spacemen and the odd Star Wars one. My pride and joy are my Johnny Express trucks and my VertiBird! Stu

Would it help if I tubbed it and put an injected nitrous 577 BBF in it? Or maybe NASCAR-ized it even though convertible racing was gone by then I think? Greg had plans to do a lightweight version since it's a "no power" car. I haven't decided on wheels yet, but that will change the look for sure.
There's no rush to paint it, but watching these shows like "Overhaulin" and Rides and keeping an eye on the rod mags are starting the juices perking

Now that might do it! Maybe, like you said, when you find the right wheels. Might do the trick.
Those overhaulin shows are bad for giving 'good' ideas.
I just watched Rides last night and still can't decide if I like that truck or not. I think they should have done something different with the rear fenders, too boxy or something.
