59 Mercury value

Where would be a good place to find out how much a 59 Mercury is worth. It is a one owner, no rust, and the chrome is getting pitted. Looks really goood though. I have pictures of it if anybody wants to see. I would stick them on now, but I am not to sharp on attaching things.

Not to be smartass, but it's worth whatever anyone will give for it. Pix would help. Check Hemmings Motor News and Old Cars Guide for some guidelines. ebay probably doesn't see many of those.

Nada has a used car value guide on line that includes collector/old car values. There were a lot of different mercs. What model? 2 door/4 door, what motor, what equipment...More info, please.

If this doesn't work go to NADAguides on the web. They publish values for collector cars for free. You'll need to know what model of Merc it is like, Monterey, Villager, Commuter, Park Lane,etc.

I forgot what model the guy said it is. I will ask him tomorrow. it is a 4 door. He claims it has a factory 383. He bought the car new in the fall of 59.
