Well, you guys know. Sold my bike (GPZ550) & the guy wrecks his truck on the way over. Sold a truck, check bounced (still have the truck). Went to order my Stef's oil pan & my valves, not to mention my Crites fiberglass bumper... someone stole my credit/debit car number & emptied my account (over $5000.00)!!! At least got some of the race car jammed last night [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

If it's a credit card, you're only liable for $50 (at least that's how it is in this state)

If it's a debit card that comes straight out of your bank account, you're screwed out of the whole 5 grand. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] If it was a debit card, they would have needed your PIN number.

Got really lucky &amp; the bank said no problem as we luckily caught it before it got paid. They tried several more times yeaserday to access my account with no success [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] Bank said Monday I'd have the $$$ in the account again. Miracles do happen I suppose [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Around here the banks are insured by the feds so you get your $$ back in 1-2 days,happened to me.

Don't know for sure, maybe off of the internet, maybe just someone guessing the number, maybe someone saw the card...

I knew someone who like a dingy ordered a pizza for some jerk online that lived in another state. The pizza was delivered along with the reciept with the credit card number on it. He had a good time til the car was totally maxed which luckily was only about 300 bucks.
