News Headline:
Iran builds up forces on its border with Iraq.
Troops ranged along 350-km stretch from Dezful opposite Iraq’s Basra and Shalamcheh opposite al Amarah.
In Tehran, FM Kharrazi warned that Iran’s parliament would not ratify any time soon Additional Protocol for Non-Proliferation Treaty allowing snap UN nuclear inspections.
---------------------------------------------------------
Somehow it seems just a little more comforting to me knowing we have American troops to the East of Iran, to the West of Iran and a Naval Armada to the South of Iran.
Imagine if we were still just sitting on our thumbs doing nothing other than waiting for Chirac, Shroeder and Putin to give us the "OK"

Yep, I hate to say it, but the UN has become so useless and corrupt and unprincipled that they have become part of the problem. Oh. And France and Germany? With friends like them, well, you know the rest.
One good thing is that the recent votes on the EU which abused many European parties, hurt France the most. That is a good thing.

I"m so sick and friggin' tired of hearing about all the ongoing bull**** over there I could puke.
Someone's getting bombed, someone's getting kidnapped, more soldiers shot/bombed/tortured/killed.
Saudia Arabia, all their crap now.
Just turn the whole friggin' place into a parking lot, and let it glow...............................
Enough already.

The primary problem with that is (aside from and "moral" issues and possible future acts against us because of our agressive and invasive actions) ...
Is this ... The majority of Nuclear Fall Out (no matter where is occurs on earth) will always wind up making it's way to the Northern Hemisphere ...
Which is exactly where we all live.
It's not quite like blowing your neighbor away with your Smith & Wesson.

Russian president Putin says that after 9/11 attacks Moscow warned Washington on several occasions that Saddam Hussein was planning terrorist attacks in the US and its facilities worldwide. The information came from Russian intelligence. He stressed the intelligence did not change Moscow’s opposition to the war.

Another News headline:
Information that lieutenant colonel in Saddam’s Fedayeen was “a very prominent member of al Qaeda” has reached 9/11 bipartisan commission - according to member John Lehman in NBC’s Meet the Press. If confirmed, he said, Cheney was right and panel would modify final report to reflect evidence reversal.

And as a side "Tid-Bit"
Interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi of Iraq once took an axe to the head for his defiance of Saddam Hussein.
Now I wasn't there to witness this of course, but that was a sideline note I picked up while listening to a bigger story about the guy.
I wouldn't underestimate the motivation and courage of many Iraqis engaging in this process ...
There are many in Iraq who see a future with a mentality that extends beyond the 632 A.D. mindset of those who personally knew Mohammed.

Another Headline:
