Okay, okay, another movie review.

I am way behind in going to the movie theater last movie I went to the theater to see was Dream Catcher I think. I usually wait for them to come out on video. Alot cheaper that way.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img]

At $4-5 dollars a head...I didn't mind taking a chance on a movie. But with movies going for $8-$9, plus $3 drink and $5 pop corn...not to mention the great unwashed offering comments and talking back to the movie. I only go to the movies when "Mama" ain't happy. I can wait for the video...and 2-for one night at that![img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_bow.gif[/img]

I ain't cheap, but I play one on TV.

beowolf..glad to hear someone else having problems with idiots who feel compelled to talk through the movie like they were sitting in their own living room. Also, is it really necessary to check your messages during a movie or play the games on a screen that is only 2" square but lights up like a landing beacon in a dark theater?
My darling, shy 15 year old daughter gets so aggrivated at those jerks I'm going to have to hold her back from kicking someone's ass next time because she has no problems with getting in their face and letting them have it. Or I could just let her go since if I get involved I would get sued. A minor would get away with it.
You're right, with the 2 of us going to the movies ends up costing about $30-$35 with snacks and a drink.
We're going to see The Terminal this weekend for Father's Day.
By the way, anybody see "Pitch Black" the predecessor to Cronicles of Rid****? I saw COR and found out PB was the first movie in that series and wondered if it was any good.

I rented Pitch Black. It was worth the price! As for the character Rid****...you have a daughter? Think of the worse guy she could bring home to meet the family. Now make him also a homicidal manic wanted all over the galaxie, then give him anti-social attitude, a "smart-mouth and enough muscle to back up the talk! Thats your winner.
