Fired up the 429 in Galaxie today for the first time!! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_spin.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_spin.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_spin.gif[/img] I am so happy I almost creamed in my pants. Been a long 2 years since I started on this motor and it sure does sound good with those open headers!! [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img] Came in to cool off for a little bit its getting kinda hot outside then I have to go back out put some more finishing touches on it. I am just beside myself with joy!!! I got finished hooking everything else up today and its ready to go to the exhaust shop. I have to call the guy tomarrow and see when he will be ready to do my car. Hopefully by next weekend or a little after I will be driving my car again.

great insperation... i spent 3 months putting my mustang vert with a healthy 351w 250shot nitrous apart. just got the itch to make a bad car awsome. knowing i'll spend my summer driving one of our two family cars (jeep chrerokee or geo prism[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_cry.gif[/img])while my vert sits lifeless in my shop.. my wife thinks i've gone mad! it's always great to hear stories like this, someone setting their sights on a project and getting it done! mine will be going threw another reconstruct faze for atleast 9 more months..ahhhh,but the sweat sound of a garrett turbo spooling up next spring will be soooo nice! congradulations!
