\'59 Galaxie price?

My dad found a turqoise & white '59 Galaxie two door sedan with an FE (he didn't look or ask to figure out what CID it is). It starts right up but smokes a little bit at first startup. It was a driveable car but the ujoints went out on it a few weekends ago so they haven't been driving her around. The paint is in ok shape, not great or anything; hardly any rust. It's missing a few peices of moulding but the body is all straight. The interior is in good condition too but the padding under the front seat cover is coming apart. Back seat looks perfect.

That's all I can think of right now. They're asking $3500 for her but said they're deffinately willing to take less. What do yall think?

You're right, having a hardtop would be much better value-wise but I still think having a sedan would be awesome. At least it's a two door though. A '59 Galaxie has always been one of my dream cars and this one has an FE best of all. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_tup.gif[/img]

I'm going to check her out this weekend and if I like her enough the '63 is going up for sale.
