Finally got the new engine done!!!
Kinda sorta alive. Been takin a break from everything and going out on my new boat almost every day with my kids. I don't even use our pool anymore since I got the boat. 20' Sea Bird OMC with cuddy cabin, toilet, fish finder, full canvas top with screens and windows, V6 I/B 3.8 Buick, 8' beam, 25 gallon gas tank with about 65 miles to a tank full throttle, room for 11 people and a great fishin boat for big water. Basically itš fully loaded and everything works great including the windshield wipers. I'm totally killin' the smallmouth bass here on Lake Ontario and starting to find a good population of largemouth bass. Working on the Falcon and Fairlane for Woodward and finally got them both tagged and inspected(was driving them with NM plates but with Hagerty NY state insurance cards). Also trying to get the Pinto up and running with a different combo AND..... get the Fairmont wagon ready for inspection so I can tag it too. The Pinto and Fairmont will be done at the same time to get inspected and tagged. Upper 60s to mid 70s weather with very little rain(unlike Pensylvania which gets rain every day just about...HA HA!....Greg/Chilly/545Mike/etc..). Nearly impossible not to feel like working outside in this wonderful weather. Itš soo different from Albuquerque where summer is too hot to work on the cars. I'm constantly going to car shows up here with both the Fairlane and Falcon(my wife drives the Falcon to the shows and ice cream stands).
Got 4 wheel discs for the Falcon that I may install before Woodward but I'll need 15" or larger wheels for the Explorer 11.5" rear rotors and that I can't afford(wheels I need are $500-$700 a set not including tires). Waiting for my new Super Victor intake to show up to replace my Vr Jr with on the Pinto, my iron Pro Topline 215cc heads are almost done with the porting but my aluminum Pro Topline 215s are not touched yet(may get them CNC hogged), I got my new bigger solid roller cam and a trick billet timing set already machined for roller thrusts with both torington thrust bearings, BG Race Demon RS(removable venturi) 975 Alcohol 4150 carb (for when I want to try alky out with a trans brake) and may or may not put my Pro Shot Fogger on the Super Victor. I'm thinking of keeping it naturally aspirated and selling the Pro Shot Fogger.
When are you making it up to Woodward? I'll be there from Tuesday night through Sunday morning. I'm staying at the same hotel as everyone else from F/M is(Red Roof Inn). James is supposed to fly up here to Rochester Sunday or Monday night and he'll drive the Falcon there while I drive the Fairlane. You better make it to Woodward, it will be good seeing you again
