MonsterMach, Sorry We Missed You

Hey MonsterMach, I'm sorry we didnt' catch up with you in time! We didn't get to Gilley's until around 10:30, and I think you'd already left by that point. We hung out near the back on the right by the entrance to the dance floor for a while and had a couple beers, but didn't see anyone matching the description in the group. I felt terrible and hope you didnt' wait thinking we'd be there earlier.

Anyway, we were pretty bummed, but this weekend has been INSANE. We're visiting Lisa's aunt and uncle for the weekend, who she hasn't seen in like 10 years. Her uncle is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, but her aunt is just plain crazy. I don't mean that in any small way, either. I won't even try to explain the crazy outbursts, tantrums, and and other things she's been pulling all weekend, but suffice it to say that getting to the Frontier last night was an ordeal like no other. [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img] I've never been around anything like that before.

Hope to make it back here again soon (but next time we're getting a hotel!) so we'll look you up again. I even wear my yellow shirt again in honor of the Monster!

Actually we were there til about midnight.

Queenie chased down every yellow shirt we could see to ask if it was you ... had about three people most of whom after being asked about their name and if they were from New Jersey replied ... "Well I could be if you want me to."

Anyway ... once you get to SLC you'll be closer and you might even pass through here again before then.

Damn! Where were you sitting? You weren't the guy with the beard straight at the back were you?

I was sitting at the second table (on the right) as you walk in past the bar and into the dance floor area then on past the beer tub, which was likely open by 10:30. It's very close to the corner of the dance floor ... but then that place starts packing in by 10:30 or shortly after.

Our party had two tables the one near the aisle where I was sitting and the one back on the corner behind it (those are typically "our" tables on Saturday night.)

I don't know if you got my voicemail messege ... left at about 8:15pm ... I was wearing black jeans and a black button shirt with red "Chili Pepper" print on it. Lots of guys with beards in there ... not me though ... Fred was at the rear table and he has dark hair and a goatie style beard.

I'm suprised I didn't noticed you ... as I said Queenie chased down every yellow shirt we saw.

I actually considered driving over to Southern Highlands. but it's about 40 minutes one way from my house and on Saturday it would have been a little tough to fit in an excursiuon of over a two hours.
