Mighty Mach, I fiquared i would hear from you, i think you must live there at Larry`s. I just sold my car amonth ago to a guardsman that had recently returned from afganistan, and he said that its way far from over where he was. He said he is not at all happy about having to go to Iraq in a few months. He`s hoping for a change in comand after november.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

I wonder if this guardsman, and no offense meant towards him at all, is a "nobody soldier" like all the Bush haters think Bush is/was? I, unlike many of the lost left, honor ALL men and women that have served this great country...no matter how they served (ie military, reserves, guardsmen, police, fire fighters, etc.).

I am so sad when I read such reactions ( but I respect all opinions)

my intention was to have people think of all this young ladies and men that died in Irak. and also all severely injured even if they signed up !
I had no intension to be for or against this war, I am not american and I do not feel or have the right to criticize Us foreign policy. I have my own mind on this subject. and this is not the place to discuss this.

here in France we sadly have the biggest cimetaries for slodiers of WW2 of all countries and we have never forgotten what young american did some 60 years ago ....

I will have to look see if I still have the paper with the outlook on the economy...there were few states that were "worse off..." most were moderate, and more than worse off, yet less than moderate were better off....California being one of them.

I am all for a sense of humor, but to twist my words around in such a disrespectful way (to me, your guardsman friend, and to the countless others that are in the service) is way over the line in my opinion.
