Got the Cammer Fever

He said he'd just sold a 64 427 last month, but he knew of a 64 Park Lane Convertible that might be coming up for sale sometime soon. Maybe I don't need a big Merc, but just MAYBE the old Esled needs a CAMMER!

So there ya got it, folks......I got the fever and I got it bad!

Lots of car nuts will talk about their "dream cars". I kinda got past that a while back 'cause I've had a whole bunch o' cool cars over the years and it would be real hard to pick one as the "ultimate".

Fxcomet, I will try to get you a STARLIFTER and then you'll taken Greg every time. The starlifter with the SOHC's big brother! That would be awsome to see the SOHC in an Edsel!

I really don't know what color, but there can't be too many around. Don Allen is from Georgia and I got the impresssion that the Mercury guy might be from the Southeast also.

I know someone that is excellent at regrinding cams Did one for me. There are several cams in my book... doesn't mean they're still available

Okay I'll ask my embarassing question - what makes a Cammer a Cammer? I always see that and have to admit I don't really know what it is

Greg, I have leads on 3 local guys that have Cammer 427s........not sure if they wanna sell but,it can't hurt to find out for ya?


One of them is a Blown version and the 2 other ones are a 1 x 4 and a 2 x 4 version, the 1 x 4 version is in a 1965 Galaxie right now.......

a guy around the corner from my house has a 32? vicky replica w/ a cammer and a 69 boss '9 with a cammer also. a friend of his has 3 complete cammers. i wish they would adopt me[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
