It was a FE 427 with special heads, each one holding an overhead cam on it, hence the moniker of SOHC "Single OverHead Cam" I believe it used the regular side oiler block, and had a unique front cover bolted on that housed a timing chain that was nearly six foot long[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img]. It was developed for Nascar, but I believe it was banned before it had a chance.
