I had mine out when I was 20. I had had occasional attacks for 3 or 4 years, but they would pass in about 45mins. I didn't know what it was. The last one hit and didn't go away. So I had the surgery. Yes, Laughing hurts. My dad was evil - making me laugh on purpose. It was as good of an experience as any hospital visit.

I thought I was gonna make a trip to the hospital earlier this week. I've got chronic kidney problems &amp; they really started hurting late one night. Last time it was that bad I spent a week in the hospital having antibiotics pumped into me. Oh the joy. I swear kidney pain has got to be the worst thing I've ever felt.
