Tonight was a great night for racing in Houston

Got the car to the track tonight, weather a cool 59 and very low humidty. Pulled the car for a test motor hit car ran as usual. Went back to the pits got ready for a NO2 pass set bottle pressure to 1000psi and check fuel pressure 5.1/2 did a good burnout car carryed the wheels almost to the 60 foot mark with a 1.32 60ft I squeed out a 8.93 @146 I was a happy camper could not of asked for a better time. I had to trailer the car because the saftey crew said my car was not up to snuff for that speed. First time I can say I was glad to take it home early. Good thing the 8th mile tracks do not check anything. Come on Santa daddy needs some new stuff LOL!!!!! I figure with the big NO2 kit a 8.50 is going to be easy..

Hey Rajin, how does your car pass tech with the fuel system mounted on the firewall?
Not busting your chops, but it needs to be on the inner fender or forward someplace.
At the tracks around here you would have to move it to race.

Wll that was one of the reasons I could not make more than 1 pass because of the fuel rgulatorsand a few other things that need to get done. Only Houston Raceway Park checks all the safty stuff because it is a NHRA sanction track and they have to follow the rules that NHRA lays down. Now al the 1/8 mile tracks don't care. They do not have any rules to go by but if they wanted to they could be real buttholes when teching in and bitch about stuff. The thing that good about the 1/8 mile tracks is most are owned by mom and pop so they want you to race so they can make a living. I should have everything ready as for safty and rules go for next year. I am just getting thecar setup for some racing next year and also for Fun Ford Weekend.
