How often do you get pulled over?

Tonite I got pulled over again. I was followed for about 4 miles by an unmarked car (altho I knew it was a cop following me the whole time) and I got pulled over. I got pulled over because I forgot to put the new reg tags on, just the standard.

I have been pulled over in my torino for:

"no light on the rear license plate" x 3
"sounds kinda loud" x 2
"no front license plate"

The only one I have ever gotten a ticket for is no front license plate. I have the same things wrong with my bug, but I have never been pulled over in my bug. I drive my torino hardly ever but it seems that it is a cop magnet.

I'm not disputing that I should have been pulled over as everything so far has been legitimate reasons. It just seems that when I drive my torino, the cops seem to look for a reason to pull me over, compared to not getting a second look in my bug.

My question here is, does it seem that in your old muscle cars seem to get pulled over more often than your other vehicles?

"no front license plate"

I thought in the Usa you did not have to use the front plate.

Naaah, Kermit, we have diffrent rules for diffrent states. Some require a front Plate and tag, some only require a front plate and some only require a rear plate.
Just depends on where you live...

How often do you get pulled over?

Got pulled over in KY many years ago in my restored 53 Chev as the guy said one just like it was stolen minutes before that
First ride in the 60 Falcon with my brother, nailed it on OH 131 right past an unmarked state cop sitting in traffic. Otherwise no problem

That would have been awesome to see my friend!

I haven't been pulled over since 1996 for running the same fishtail straightpipes that I have had on my Harley for 20+ years.

It was one of them 'go to the police station within 48 hours with quieter exhaust and we will let it drop' deals.

I have a few different exhaust systems for my motorcycle in the garage.

Never - not blowing my own horn but the only time I see cops looking at me is when they are checking the car out.

1995 on US15 in PA for 127 mph in a 55 in the 66 Fairlane. Negotiated down to 79 in a 55 (24 mph over). Anything above 25 mph over the limit requires "school" and a suspension.

Sounds like street racing or your "low key traffic light race" better watch out cuz everybody will call you stupid or something"
