Magic fingers massage....
Motor's in the Liner, runs. Doesn't knock. Good oil pressure. Now for the bad news: Vibrates like a cheap massage chair at 3K and up. Looks like good old Ford sent me a motor for external balance when I SPECIFICALLY told em last time that it's a "zero" balance motor...Vibration is motor specific, not in the drivetrain. Guess they're gonna either have to get me a new flywheel and crank "hatchet" or come and get the 'turd and rebuild themselves.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img] Jeez, I love this hobby...[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img][img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif[/img]

It never stops.

Got the custom length 1/2 in. head studs from ARP on Friday.

Great!!

One of them is 7/16 in. diameter.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img]

Not as bad as yours, but how does this happen?

If it helps at all, most people I talked to feel the externally balanced crank is stronger than the internally balanced one [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
