Startin the Gal in about a week.. need a little \"professional\" help..

allright, heres the deal.

i am planning on gettin the galaxie in the garage by wedensday on the lattest next week, right after dad and i get the comand start in moms Kia. My idea is to remove th ehood, each fender and th edores one at a time and re do them. strip the hood, prime, paint and get the insolation in (where can i find some??) . than do the same with my fenders, strip, paint and hide away in my basement. along with my dores. once all thats done i need to have new rockers welded in as well as lower 1/4's. not to mention the roof liner and some how finding a new black bench seat skin for the 64-500. also i have the standard up grades like the disc swap and 352 rebuild thats about 50% done as it sits.

id like to know what you think about doing the individual body parts one at a time
ie. remove, strip, clean, rebuild, paint than hide away to be replaced when the car is ready.

is this ok to do? i cant see why not. but good to ask.

id like to do the disc swap when the fenders are off than i can clean under coat all that ugley rust brown stuff.

the interior is a little low on my priorety list as i "Need" to have the car done for grad this summer (some time in the middle/end of june)

am i planning this ok?

is my idea on how to do the body work ok? (remove, re do etc...)

am i missing anything??

il do my absoutloute best to get pics on here by thursday next week, school gets out on tuesday for christmas.

thanks alot!

i am at your mercey...

Soundl like a good plan to me... I'm doing that to a 1968 Satellite Convertable and a 1968 GTX, right now... I have the fenders off and painted and the hoods finished, and just awaiting the big panel man to put the qtrs on the satellite so we can re-assemble. You've got a plan... go with it!
