Cobra Intake, Is it original or not?

I’m going to be selling this intake and need to know if it is original or not. The guy that sold me the car it was on said it was original but, I’m not so sure.

i dont think it is original, but im not 100% sure.

Repop; a S1MS would have a small cobra logo on it. This one has the large cobra logo witch should have a S2MS or S7MS part # . A repop is still worth some good money though.

I didn't know that. I've had several of those things over the years, and basicly everybody selling one tries to pass it off as original. Not that I care, it's not like it's going on a real Cobra (for me).

I've got one now, but it's junk. I think somebody had the thing in a boat or something as it's way rotted out around the waterneck, I'm about 100 percent sure it's not fixable, it's really bad.

Only thing I can think of that would do that is lots of salt water.

Also most repops won't have a oil splash shield under the heat crossover. A real one will, or at least have holes for the studs that held it on.
