Cleaning out the garage... What a mess...

I've been trying to clean out the garage today in hopes of getting the Gal in there before the snow comes. What a nightmare it is.

I've started by going thorugh my bins of computer stuff (lots and lots of it!) and sorting things into piles. That's done, now I'm taking a break to eat and then I gotta throw the one pile away and sort the rest into bins.

I'm awful, I hate to get rid of things. I even found my first computer, well the motehrboard anyway. An old AMD 286 10 MHz board, it's huge. That went in the keep pile. I'm such a packrat.

After computer stuff I get to organize all the yard/gardening stuff from the one wall to the other wall, then some more misc computer junk buried under decorations and seasonal junk.

Then I'll probably have to move these shelves off the back wall of the garage as when I had my '67 parked in the garage it just barely fit and there wern't any shelves then.

Ugh! What a mess. I gotta get some food in me before I go nuts. *eats apple while waiting for water to boil*

I'm doing the same thing! I had a big throwin' away party yesterday and hauled off 1240lbs of misc car parts. I hauled off about 1000lbs earlier this summer also. I don't know where the stuff comes from.

During Christmas break I need to get out there and get my garage DONE. I've only lived here like 7-8 months and don't know where all this stuff came from.

That sounds like me! Some things you just can't throw away. Computer "junk" is as bad as car parts or worse. Collection adds up quickly! I kept all the old mobos and modems and junk thinking I could use them for something crafty. The time isn't right yet I guess as they are still in a box and nothing done.

Cleaning out the garage... What a mess...

I wish I had a nice big clean garage like that. Mine is only a 2.5 car garage and being as how I still live with my parents and they think garages are for putting junk in and my dad insists on having a make-shift workshop I have to clean out the side with all the junk and find a place to put it. I figure I'll do as much as I can so I have some room to work in there too.

I'll probably be moving out by the end of summer, which will be nice except for the fact that I won't have a garage anymore. It comes in handy for things like engine hoists and the things you do with an engine hoist. heh heh Oh well.

Anyhow, I didn't get it all done yesterday and we had the first snow on the ground last night. It's nearly gone now, but still, the Gal sat in the snow last night. It's now 10* out with a wind chill of -16. bbbrrrrr!!

I don't wanna, but I think I'm gonna bundle up again and see if I can finish the garage. Being as how I'm unemployed until school starts up again after the holiday I may as well try to be productive. I keep getting calls for these pretty good job offers, but I keep having to decline now that I'm back doing school again. Kinda sucks, but oh well. I just hope I still am getting the offers in the summer so I can move out!
