Hard to say. It didn't really look like it barrel rolled, and I can't really see any skid marks. Who knows? He might have got plugged by a Kenworth or something.

It is hard to judge distances in photos, but if I see it right, I don't think I would stand where the two closest guys are standing.

I thought the exact same thing! Also, does anyone know enough about phone poles and wires to know if those are carrying power? If so, that would be a thrill in itself if they broke.
