Almost makes me want to start on my Maverick again. It's currently in limbo. It's actually a 73 LDO that got converted into a 72 Grabber.

I prefer the Comet GT over the Maverick Grabber jutsa lil bit..........I don't know I guess the Mercury is just less common and I also love competition blue!

I remember Hot Rod Mag did an article on the Doug Nash Prepped 1970 Mavericks before Ford put V-8s in them, thats when I decided I had to have one with a 302. But, when the factory 302s came out they had no power, and mine stayed stock.

I had a 1971 Maverick with a inline 6 in it.

I loved that car.

Here's my '72 Comet. My wife's uncle gave it to me.It's got a 250/C4. I'm slowing fixing it up and will be happy if it runs 12's.(in the eighth mile)
