Had a couple of them as well, lol. I really want another one, BUT, they shot through the roof for some reason. Same with the same era Ranchero GTs.

They had a nice one around here that I'd been trying to buy for years. Wouldn't sell it, hell, wouldn't even price it.

Went by there a couple weeks ago, and it was GONE. Figures...

I have a big soft spot for the 72-72 Torinos, and the rest of the 72-78 'midsized' Fords. I still think 70s Cougars and Elites are cool.

Yep, yep, yep. I settled for a '73 because I couldn't find a '72 in good enough condition, but '72's are the ones I really love.

I never did acquire a taste for the laser stripe, though.

I love the 72's, they had a classic grille.

The 73s had that big bumper thing goin and it screwed up the lines.

I feel the same. But I did'nt care about condition as much as you. But mine is alright I guess. I just wanted a fastback Torino.

I love the grills on the 72 Gran Torinos (the regulard Torinos were kinda bland). Who called it 'a landlocked tuna gasping for air'? That was classic.

Actually, I love them all from 68-76.
