Lazik eye procedure

Leaving in a few minutes to have both eyes done.
Should have 20/20 vision in a few hours.
Wish me luck.

Mike if you can read this when you get back I guess it worked.
Most people take a few days to adjust.

I made it through ok.

Things are fuzzy but getting better.

Gonna need glasses to read.

Just drug store granny's.

It's actually getting sharper by the hour.

Would I go through this again?

Yes.

The laser took 26 seconds for the right eye, and 22 seconds for the left.

I'd love to do that. But like said already "one of these days".
Congrats on the "new" eyeballs!

Glad to hear your surgery went well.

I've thought about doing it, but my eyes are very sensitive. I I get real finicky even going to the eye doctor when they put that thing right up to your eye to look thorugh.

Is the procedure permanent? As in, normally every so often your prescription for your glasses will change. Over time most people's eyes get worse, and they need a stronger prescription. Will the eyes get worse after the laser surgery? So, 5 years down the road will your vision perhaps no be quite as sharp as a week or two from now?

The other day on the radio I heard this thing about 'naturally strengthening your eyes' through some process that doesn't involve surgery or anything. They said it will reduce or eliminate your need for glasses. Sounded like a load of crap to me, but I was kinda interested.

lasik is just one way to improve your vision. these days it is the current "in thing" to do. many people need to go back to glasses in the future, though their prescription is no where near what they had to had before lasik surgury. be aware that some people have night vision problems, usually they have halos around light sources.
