Looking for my Dads 70 Pro Stock Maverick was sold to Tom Dayton of Livermoore Calif 1977 and sold to another guy dont know where the car went.its had an Art Himmsel paint job real nice pearl white with blue webbing beautiful car was brand new off the showroom floor sent to Holman Moody to be fitted for the SOHC Hemi.than Tom Grove did some work on it my Dad ran it 70-71 Winternationals and west coast Nationals. last I herd it was in a field somewhere.

Looking to find it restore it to 70 Pro Stock standerds I got the Hollman Moody built SOHC Hemi and top loader 4 speed out of the car now. car has the Dana rear end in it.towers are real noticable special done by Holman Moody as the rear suspenshion might still say Hayward Ford on back quarters and Pro Stock 710 on the side windows

Car was done by Holman Moody same time Eddy Headman of Headman Headers had his 70 Pro Stock Maverick built.Dyno Don had two built one he drove and Ken Dondero the other one.a car collector found Dyno Don Ken Dondero driven one all in one pice its in Frezno Calif. we think my Dads went down south some where last we herd it was in a field behind a barn.its a shame car was still like brand new when we sold it.the roll cage was state of the art back than when done. it ran well into the 9's back than the engine has a nice manifold built with two dominator carbs nice job being built in late 1970. it had Keystone racing wheels on it they helped us out with wheels back than

I think Dyno Dons is worth $50,000 thats what they payed for it the car collector

Got any pics of it? Sounds pretty cool... I don't remember it, but really really really like Mavericks.

Have no idea where it is, if it's even still around.

I have a nice picture of it coming off the starting line at Pomona Winternationals 1971 looks nice.you can see the on lookers in the background holding there ears it was loude with the Cammer motor. dont have scanner to post pictures my signuture picture is hosted off my friends computer.darn you would like this its 8x10 full color

I will see if I can get it up on here some how [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] Art Himmsel said to do the paint job again would be $30,000 + the pearl white and webbing effect with gold leafe on hood and deck lid.it had a light blue dark blue pearl feather effect on the roof to deck lid. Ed Terry factory backed Ford racer had one as well called the silver bullet.it was acid dipped real light weight thats another one lost no trace of it

No the Super Coupe V6 is retired havent ran it sence the 11.911et run after my father passed away lost intrest in it. got my 69 Boss 429 and my Blown Pro Mod 57tbird in the works pluse trying to find his Maverick.found his 65 SOHC A/FX Mustang the car collector wants $200,000 for it.

thats great you got a Mustang lot better than a heavy tbird would like to sell SC but cant get what you got into it.may run my 63 Galaxie at Sac this year lower the et and bring the speed up

Don't blame you w/ such serious heavy metal in your posession to play with. I managed to hit 11.90 [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif[/img] at 115 before I had to move on to other projects and pay some bills. Now need to get an SVO going for the daily driver and try to get the coupe in to the 10's on motor. Hope to see that bad-boy at the track!
