Utah Highway Patrol Mustang Mach 1

I was driving on I-15 yesterday in southern Utah and saw the flashing lights of a police car up ahead out of the corner of my eye. As I got closer I realized the car with the flashing lights was a metallic blue Mach 1, shaker and all. As I past it it just looked like a tricked out, custom painted late model, except for the blue and reds on the dash and package shelf!

hummm, better keep you eyes open for that guy...

We got a undercover 2000 or so mustang back in FL's emerald coast that like to sneak up on me all the time. Too bad his fake factory ram air hood scoop is raised an extra 1/2" to fit some lights in it... it give hims away "atleast to me anyway".

THAT'S what was going on with that scoop - I didn't get a good look at it when I past him, but it looked funny from the front.

We have some solid black or soldi white camaros like that down here (minus the lights in the shaker) they have them on the dash some how. I think one of them is an SS not sure if a "true" SS or just to scare ya.

We've got TWO mercury mauradurs that patrol Sunrise Blvd and the Hwy. 50 corridor. Atleast somebody bought those cars

That would be cool, the cops around here are WAY to cheap to buy something like that, though.

Hell, they've still got a few pre92 vics and Impalas running around.

SOme police departments seem to have too much money to spend. The henderson poilce all drive Tahoes. Seems they needed the extra room for all the gear. Im wondering what kinda crap they have that requires that much room. Most polie seem to get by just fine with a vicky, or even a Chevy impala.

Yeah, who knows if they need it. But, I will say with the 75MPG speed limits through most of Utah, most of the people they pull over are doing about 90 or so, so I can see where'd they'd want a little more giddyup to catch them!
