It was in a shop fire burned it so bad in 1982 my Dad use to race it in BMP in the 60's it was stored in a shop after the fire for years we took salvaged the original steel body and doors and had a state of the art chassis built to Pro Mod rules. my dad did all the body work it was a mess got a new original top only thing glass on the car is hood and bumpers the deck lid is steel. original grill, emblems, body its neat one of a kind 57 Pro Mod car all others are glass bodys. total cost of this
project is $200,000 and that was 1997 it won two big roadster shows in 1997 Frezno and Sacramento autoramas in competition class was featured on Speed Vision American Hot Rodder TV show in 1997. we had money problems than now in 2005 its time to bring the Thunder to life we are looking at 6.30's at 220+mph with new blower and clutch combo its 98" wheel base close to stock so its a hand full at times with 2500hp."
