God Bless America. I wonder how many rounds a minute that gun shoots at? Very cool video

Those guns have INCREDIBLE firing rates.... When you think that only 1 in 6 rounds (or something like that) is a tracer, you gain an even better appreciation of how fast the gun is firing. It's hard to even hear the individual shots. It's more of a high frequency BRRRRRRRRRRR than a da, da, da, da, da....

What is that 'tank killer' plane (the ugly one) that has a huge 20mm gatling gun in it's nose who's recoil is equal to the thrust of it's engines. They have to push the engines wide open when firing to keep from losing speed.

AWESOME FIREPOWER!

That would be the A-10 Warthog, and not only do they have to come in at full throttle, they must fire in short bursts or it will stop the plane in mid air.

Gotta love the A-10, that's old-school air-warfare. I've heard of those coming back with the wings shot up tailfin missing and still flying.

Not to mention the payload capacity of the A-10... It can carry a huge amount of bombs also. It just has to have some back up in case any un-friendlies are in the area..
