wow, 2 email scams in 1 day!
i just got 2 emails from people in the uk who want to send a cashiers check for the fairlane and then send a transport company to pick it up. i'm playing along for now [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] . the least they could do is spell everything right

the check is for more than what your asking, to "cover shipping" and you send payment to the transport company out of your pocket. The transport company is a fake, so your sending the guy X amount of money with no chance of getting it back. There have been times when they will also actually pick up the car. You loose money and the car too!

yeah, I had an as#hole try to scam me for EFI parts!!! I had the ad listed under mass air conversion. He must have thought that was some type of vehicle cause he said he needed it for a movie in spain. Offered the same old crap, too much dough and a cashiers check. People must still be falling for this crap.

yeah, one of them wanted to know if i still had the fairlane in stock [img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img] emailed him back and told him i was out but expecting another shpiment soon.

Thats why you put the disclaimer for the check to clear your bank and any other red tape first. Make them wait and then you hopefully won't get scammed.

No, let the guy waste his money sending the fake check.... Then tell him you never got it and to send another one, keep doing that and see how many times you cant get him to mail payment.[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif[/img]
