I've been playing with this for a hour or so, trying to come up with different ideas for my garage door. I think it's pretty cool (I don't intend to buy one from this company, but it's a fun little designer).
I came up with a design I like, but can't get a screenshot. That figures. Right now my door is a plain flatpanel white non-insulated one and the garage is just white siding.
Later on, I want a NICE 3 panel green garage door with insulated panels and leaded windows. That should look pretty cool when I get the front of the garage and the breezeway bricked up to match my house. When I get MORE money (hahaha) I'll brick down one side of the garage, but not bricking the back of it, or the breezeway wall. So half of it will match the house, and the other house nobody can see from the road I don't really care about.
Actually, I'll be building a 4 car 'pole barn' (kinda sorta) sometime in the future, that will use the back of the garage for one of the walls.
Nothing fancy, just a 24x40' with a modified roof design to match up to my existing garage. The front will again be matched with brick to match the house with one side being my existing garage, and the other 2 sides (well, one side and back) just being rough cut lumber.
I figure that'll be good enough to park my 4x4, trailer, racecar, and something else in by then. Should be fairly cheap to build as well...
