Seat belts
I would like to replace my lap and shoulder belts in the front seat of my Torino. Right now, they are the kind that have a retractable lap belt and a button on the shoulder belt that hooks into the lap belt buckle. I want to replace them with 3-point belts that have the shoulder and lap belt permanently joined. Anybody know a good source?
I've looked at Dearborn Classics, I wondered if there are others.

Seat belts
Tim 1859,
If you want new you might try this site. I have never purchased from them so I would advise you to check them out closely before doing business. I stumbled across there site while searching for some other stuff and I kept the link specifically because of the seatbelt section.

Hope it helps.

I think it was the KingofAzle who just made some late model belts work in his car. Looked very clean, and beat the hell outta the stock stuff. Might wanna do a search, and take a look at his pics

I would check out a junkyard for Ford seatbelts from the late 70's. They also have the inertia reel built in and they are cheap.

Tim,Do as stated above, Look @ 77 or so T-Birds/Cougars/Lincoln Mark V's. You "may" get a woody.
Which reminds me. I seen a dashpad @ a local JY. It was on a 78 Cougar, Was near PERFECT! I have not seen one like that ever in a JY. How is your dashpad Tim?

I've been looking to do the same thing in my Maverick, but not sure where to stick the reel at... I've got plenty of belt setups for 73-79 pickups, but one thing I DON'T want to do is rig up a seatbelt.

Seat belts
I need to go take a look at a late '70's Tbird / Cougar.
The Torino has attachment points on each side of the seat and above the door. I want to do something that can work with those three points if possible.
I appreciate the links. I might just use one of them.

Since I have a '79 T-Bird sitting 10 feet from my back door, I thought I'd save you some time, Tim. From the description of the mounting points in your Torino, the 'Bird belts look like a bolt-in.
