lOOKING FOR A LOW DOLLAR MUSTANG BODY, Drivable

I am in the need for a mustang body somewhere close to central Indiana. Something that I can use as a learning tool for my sixteen year old and I to be involved in as a bonding type of thing. He is a cunfused kid who likes fast cars but he has no common sence at all, bad grades, mouthy, don't seem to care about anything. I thought I might get him involved in a project and he might stay out of trouble, ya know. something inexpensive would fit the bill just fine. Any year......Bob

Looking for something that they might want towed away. 79 or later would do. or 70 would be nice. BTW The kid got into trouble again last night when we found out that he ran my cell phone bill to over $300. over two nights just talking to his GF. he snuck out my phone while we were aSLEEP. That don't leave much for his car project....bob

Spank him, in front of his friends. That will not only carry a consequence, but also will send a message about being dis-honest and sneaky..

Not to appease his behaviour, but you can get unlimited cellphone plans for about 80 bucks a month. Tell him to get a job and to pay the difference between the unlimited plan and your current plan.

My parents were very good to me. They bought me my first car (they picked the car - a 78 Pinto)and paid the insurance the first year. After that, they made me pay all myself. I did not get the car until I was 17 and needed it for getting back and forth between home and school for football and band practice. After football season ended, I had to get a job. I have had one ever since. SIGH!!! In retrospect, I would have liked my dad to help me build a car. At the time, he simply did not have the time and patience, and I was a bit intimidated by his temper. We get along much better now, and I might suggest something soon. (He has a 63 Catalina with a 389) Just don't force it. My dad told me something that meant a lot to me as a teen. He said, " If you get into trouble and I believe you were in the right, I will back you up 100%, but if I think you were wrong, you will have me to deal with after you deal with the cops or teachers."

Oh well, I ramble.
