is this even worth doing?

gettin ready to drop the motor back in my truck, is it even worth putting the old Holley 1850 back on? it worked before, but im just wondering how long that will last[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lame.gif[/img]

How long it will last[img]/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif[/img] whats wrong with it?

i ran a rebuild 1850 on my 351w for years and loved it.

just seems like my luck has been less than good with these carb's. secondaries quit working usually...

Dan, stick it on, it's paid for. If it messes up, we'll help ya. Everyone has an opinion on carbs, I, for one, only having my "limited" experience, HATE Deamon & Edelbrock carbs. I just chunked an "E" carb in the trash...
