Look more like the REAL 2 lane blacktop 55 now?

Replaced the frame, (original was broken), and replaced/swapped the tires/rims off another (donor), car.
I think it looks pretty close to the original now with these wheels.
Still contemplating taking a pinfile to the wheels and seeing if I can /modify/tweak' them to look like american 200s's.

Also still gotta build a little display/diorama for IT and the GEE TEE OHH.

Idle hands are the devils workshop, ya know............

Thanks guys.
I gotta admit. I think IT's my favorite diecast right now. LOVE the car, LOVE the movie.
Gotta modify the rear springs a bit, so the rear wheels rotate again, (they're offset a little too much, and make a fair bit of contact to the springs. Considered filing the tires, but think I'll notch the springs instead.
BUT on a good note, at least it won't roll off the self and self destruct.

I went to Roy Brizio's shop a couple of years ago, and he was restoring one of the Two Lane blacktop 55's at the time. It was pretty cool to see the car up close, though it was very crude!! Roy said that the other TLB '55 that he knew of, was Pro Streeted back in the 80's, and that it was ruined. On a side note, a friend of mine in El Paso has the original McMullen '32 Ford roadster that Roy Brizio restored for him, and that car is very cool to see up close.
