2006 Shelby Gt500

Wow ! had to wipe alittle drool of the old monitor, But what I didnt like was the supercharged 5.4 which is like the Gt supercar engine. Chevy is in the works on the new Ls7 vette which will have an all new 7.0 (427) c.i.d small block 500 hp @ 6200 475 tq @ 4800 redline 7000 rpm all w/o supercharger think what it'll do when its supercharged The rivalry between these two are gonna be BIG. Think im gonna go huntin some vipers & vettes for now.

Yeah, But that 7.0 is going to cost you way more then a huffer and a 5.4 And I think getting 500 with 1.6 less displacment is pretty damn good.

1.6 ????? I think its 96 c.i. less 5.4=331/ 7.0 =427.
Have you seen the price of the Gt ??? $250,000 (5.4/huffer)
Who knows about the 2006 shelby, ya know if carrol has anything to do w/ it its not going to be cheap. I dont think the vette is going to be 250,000. I may be wrong,
What about the new Cobra-like the 66, (mustang platform) w/ V10

Industry rumors place the Shelby GT500 Cobra pricing at less than 40k.

Did y'all see the msn news page this morning with the '06 Mustang on it? Now, for one of Ford's little mustangs... I'd definitely think about getting one if they were $40.00!

do you just have 40 bucks burning a hole in your pocket?

i can dig something up that you can have for 40 bucks...

how about a set of polished connecting rods and nasty '69 heads for a 302?
