Having a pro built roots supercharged 331 being built now!

Well, I seem to have spun a bearing on my 302 recently by the loud knocking coming from the engine. Actually, I got back from my engine builder and it was not only knocking but squealing too. Luckily, I got it parked and torn down so I could take the AFR 165's to him so he could start the mods on them. I am going to go with a Dart block stroked to 331 using an all forged eagle kit w/ a steel crank and a hydraulic roller set up. We are going to port the heads and put bigger intake valves in. I plan on eventually spraying it under boost, that is why I am going with the Dart block. For now, it's going to be pumping about 10 pounds w/ race gas. Should be fun when I finally get it together.

It would probably save you a few bucks just to sell the 165's and pick up some 185's or even some 205's.

I thought about that, but I'll wait to see what combo we are going to build and go from there. If I can swap out the intake valves for some bigger ones and port these heads and still keep in my budget, I might go that way. So many decisions, so much power to be made!
