Ford ranger out does a camaro

it truly is about momentum... i got our 2WD expedition through our side lot (which is a swamp) to pull the guy out of the drainage ditch beside our driveway... get it up to about 25mph in the 20 or so feet before the mud bog, keep the foot in the same place on the gas pedal the whole time.... the momentum plus the drag of the tires doing 1000 RPM through the mud got me around the 50 foot mess of ground... and then i could pull the little dodge truck out of the gutter...fun stuff...

There's no feeling like driving on a tractionless surface... its kind of like those snow sleds that steer with the little ski in the front, just hope it goes that direction...

I drive in the middle of the mud power brake in 2wd to sink the rear tires then lock it in 4x4 and crawl out easily.

BTW: Ive went places with my old 86 fanger 4x4 jeeps had hard times. Thats with oped differentials. Its alot to do with the driver. Rangers can go.

looks like the camaro is pulling the ranger. I've never seen many rangers that could pull much of anything. Well, maybe after you get rid of the orginal drivetrain. BTW there's a Ford Ranger in our family. It is a great winter vehicle, because it doesn't have enough power to spin the tires, so you can't get stuck.

Man, I couldn't agree more. My Ranger can't pull the skin off pudding.
