Finally got the engine in (Pics)

I finally got the beast back in. My dog learned some new words, but aft a few hours, and some skint knuckles it in. Next time I go home I'll have her running. And for anyone else putting in a windsor in a early mustang believe me those hearders are a tight fit.

Looks great! How'd you get the headers in? It helps on mine to remove the motor mounts one at a time and jack that side of the engine up - don't exactly drop right in, but close. I've wondered how much tighter 1 3/4 would be, and curious what it took?

Magic, it's a .060 over 414 with AFR 205 heads, 1 3/4 headers. 69 convert, I just got the engine about 3/4 ways down and slide them in from the backside of the shock towers, then pulled them forward and bolted them up. It tooks some finess, but I got it. Managed to only make 1 little scratch while putting it in to. It's nice to have a load leveler when your putting in the engine and tranny all together.
