(HELP) 67 - 68 Mustang fender to fender mesurments?

Ok here is an odd one for you guys, my 67 has a little hood alignment issues, now its not so much for the hood but the fenders, Can someone tell me the measurements between the fenders at the front near the radiator and near the cowl. I suspect my fenders are not lined up, Or my whole engine bay is folding in half which I have no clue so for the second part same areas of measurements just the inner fenders of the engine bay.

The story is my hood near the front rubs both fenders so it cannot be tweaked. But I do know in the back it sits a little high I will get some pics tonight; maybe someone can help get this thing aligned?

Here's what you do... You need no measurements off an exhisting car....

Step 1: Loosen foreward fender bolts on both fenders, and tap it outward about 1/4 inch on each side. (I cannot remember if they bolt downward tward the inner fender or bolt inward tward the fender...)
If they bolt inward tward the inner, then you will need shims... if it bolts downward into slotted holes with clips in them you can loosen them up twards the firewall like the foreward bolts and give it a couple love taps out and away from the hood on each side for a total not exceeding 1/4" per side... that's a lot of room, and might even be too much...

Step 2: Loosen the foreward lower hood hinge bolts and lift the hood about 1/2" then tighten them to get the rear of the hood to drop and match the rear portion of the fenders. To get the front to line up height wise adjust your hood latch and or adjust your hood bumpers.

Hey thanks man I did it just as you said the hood sits perfect, I was getting pretty tired of it sitting up so high.

Now that its all done I notice the front lip of the hood sits about an 1/4 of an inch further forward than the fenders, but if I move them forward the gap from the door to the fender would be horrible. I tried sliding the hood back but when it opens it rubs the cowl area. Any tips on this?
