Parts from an 80-82 T=bird fitting a 65 Mustang

I can access a T-bird 302 automatic, 4 lug car. Will the tranny and engine set up fir my 65 coupe 200 six? Will the front discs and suspension bolt up or are they struts? Will it be worth my time and effort to get it for parts for my 65 or would it be a big pain. Time is not a problem, but what would be my problems? Thanks for the help!

Get it and experiment. You might like the seats. The power train will work. The suspension will not with out a lot of fabrication.

As retyler said the drivetrain will work but you need to get the V8 motor mounts

Again as retyler said the suspension would not be worth it. There are a few different disc upgrades available none would use the Fox style setup from the T bird.

The other issue would be the original six cylinder suspension in the 65 differs from the V8 version so you should look at upgrading that too. Stu

Thanks for the help!
