Power Possibilities in a 200 I-6

That offy kit is nice guy's. But it don't allow for any intake porting except in the bowls...

When I do this job I am going to do it right. I'm going to "Biggerize" everything that I can reach.

I am either going with 3, 2V or 3, 1V carb's exactly like the one I am useing on my Falcon at this moment. It's HUGE compared to the Mustang and Fairlane 1V carb's of the '60's that I'm used to seeing. I will try to get the model or design # off it and post it for opinions.

All of the Ford Flathead V-8's I've seen run a tri power setup with 3 1V carb's, I can emulate that and get better performance because I have only 6 cyl's feeding off of them.

I can't wait to post some results for y'all to see.

FE

CaptVirgilHilts, I think I have that mag. Is it titled something like "The Pico Rivera Flash"? and I think it was a '69 Mustang coupe with a 250 if I remember correctly. It was from "Mustang" back in 1983 I think. If it isn't, than oh well, but if it is, than I remember it really well because it was such a cool article and the name really stuck in my head. I might even still have that issue.

That's it, I just found it. Hot Rod Mustang magazine #3. page 90. It shows the old Offy kit and a few other tricks. Stu

Okay, how do I remember obscure stuff like this, but I can't remember the firing order of a small block Ford?
