Hey Six Shooter guy\'s!

THe local yards I have under a 60 mile drive are all un-computerised....

What I want is ANY way to mount a fully synchroed 3 speed from a 289 to my Falcon 200....

It's been done womewhere somehow and I have to do it... I would rather not buy a disc since I got one... My falcon clutch disc has a smaller spline diameter.

Hey Six Shooter guy\'s!

Wrong timeframe Tim, that's to mount a totally diffrent tranny like a 4 speed... I'm going with a 3 speed so I can keep my 3 on the tree...

I have a high starter mounted bellhousing that fit's the tranny I have...

Hey Six Shooter guy\'s!

Gary: the only thing close that I can find is a 1962 Fairlane with a 170 engine. It is 9 1/2' clutch with 23 splines . There are no clutch disc for Falcons listed at 9".. Only 8 1/2'' and 9 1/2''. All of the 8 1/2" fit 170 and 200 engines and have 10 splines.

Two thoughts: 1 change the front main drive in the trans, and use 91/2'' or get a good parts man to check the later 250 cid clutches. My books don't go that high.

Since the parts you have are for a high mount starter, it prolly 250 stuff.

That must be why I haven't found anything for this combo.
